PeaceConcerts organiseert concerten op bijzondere locaties, met musici die zich vooral richten op mystieke, devotionele, meditatieve en kunstzinnige muziek uit alle culturen.
Dit unieke gelegenheidsconcert met topmuzikanten Farid Sheek, Danial Moazeni en danseres Rasha Vrede vindt plaats in de Sufitempel Katwijk.

Farid Sjeek:
(Isfahan, 1994) is een Iraans-Nederlandse componist en percussionist[1]. In 2015 componeerde Sheek de muziek voor de film Dance Iranian Style[2], die werd genomineerd voor het NFF en het New York Film Festival[3]. Twee jaar later, in 2017, richtte Sheek zijn eigen bedrijf 'Arta Events' op. Hij werkte samen met grote namen als het Residentie Orkest, Maya Fridman en Rana Gorgani en speelde in verschillende concertzalen in Nederland, waaronder De Doelen[4] en de Schouwburg in Rotterdam. Sheek trad ook op in verschillende Europese steden.
Anno 2020 staat Sheek bekend als professioneel uitvoerend componist. Hij streeft ernaar verschillende genres te combineren, van klassiek tot pop en van traditionele Iraanse klanken tot moderne westerse invloeden. Hij werkt aan verschillende projecten samen met Maya Fridman (cello) en Mohsen Masoumi (opera).
Sinds kort speelt hij ook voor het Nederlandse koningshuis.

Rasha Vrede:
Door zowel in het Midden-Oosten als in Europa te wonen en internationaal te reizen, heeft Rasha veel rijke mogelijkheden voor culturele samenwerking gekregen en heeft ze haar grote inspiratie gegeven om bruggen van respect, liefde en eenheid te bouwen tussen mensen met verschillende achtergronden en spirituele tradities.
Dit heeft Rasha op het pad van werveling gebracht, ook wel derwisjdans of soefidans genoemd.
Door deel te nemen aan de Dervish In Progress training is ze nu ook een erkend instructeur die haar kennis met alle invloeden en inspiratie deelt tijdens haar lessen en workshops.
Door te wervelen en de invloeden die Rasha met zich meedraagt, weet ze de emoties van anderen te raken.
Rasha voelt zich vrij en verbonden als ze wervelt. Toen ze begon was het voor haar eigen verlangen, maar na het eerste jaar transformeerde ze en wilde ze niets liever dan het delen met anderen. Ruimte bieden om de stilte in iedereen te ervaren en te verbinden.

Daniël Moazeni:
Daniel Moazeni werd geboren in 1998 in Isfahan, Iran. Op vierjarige leeftijd begon hij het Perzische instrument om de Tar te bespelen. Hij begon zijn studie in 2012 aan de Music High School of Isfahan terwijl hij studeerde bij Maestro Hossein Alizadeh en Houshang Zarif Basics of Composition and Tar. Als Tar-speler en componist heeft hij vele concerten gegeven met diverse ensembles in Teheran, Isfahan, Shahre-Kord Yazd en Neyshabour (Mashhad). In 2014 richtte hij het Nafis Ensemble op. Als componist heeft hij stukken gecomponeerd voor het Kamerorkest van Teheran en het Nationaal Orkest van Isfahan. Na zijn afstuderen aan de middelbare school verhuisde hij naar Oostenrijk en studeert sinds 2017 een bachelorstudie in muziekcompositie bij Carola Bauckholt aan de Anton Bruckner-universiteit in Linz, Oostenrijk. In 2018 had hij een radiogesprek over de compositorische interactie van Perzische en Europese muziek en cultuur. Als solist en componist trad hij op op muziekfestivals van Berlijn, Krems, Linz, Boedapest en de Contemporary Music Competition van Bologna, Italië met "Silkroad", "Nafis Ensemble", "WorldMusic Quartett", "Ensemble Airborne", "Kölner Schlagquartett”, Trio Sheek & SolterPlus Ensemble. 2019 won hij de Prijs van “Die sieben Leben des Maximilian Festival”.

PeaceConcerts organizes concerts at special locations, with musicians who mainly focus on mystical, devotional, meditative and artistic music from all cultures.
This unique occasional concert with top musicians Farid Sheek, Danial Moazeni and Dancer Rasha Vrede takes place in the Sufitemple Katwijk.

Farid Sheek:
(Isfahan, 1994) is an Iranian-Dutch composer and percussionist[1]. In 2015, Sheek composed the music for the film, Dance Iranian Style[2], which was nominated for the NFF and the New York Film Festival[3]. Two years later, in 2017, Sheek founded his own company 'Arta Events'. He has worked with big names such as the Residentie Orkest, Maya Fridman and Rana Gorgani, and has played in various concert halls in the Netherlands, including De Doelen[4] and the Schouwburg in Rotterdam. Sheek also performed in several European cities.
In 2020, Sheek is known as a professional performing composer. He strives to combine different genres, from classical to pop and from traditional Iranian sounds to modern Western influences. He works on several projects together with Maya Fridman (cello) and Mohsen Masoumi (opera).
Recently he also played for the Dutch Royal family.

Rasha Vrede:
Living both in the Middle East and Europe and traveling internationally has given Rasha many rich opportunities for cultural collaboration and has given her great inspiration to build bridges of respect, love and unity between people of different backgrounds and spiritual traditions .
This has put Rasha on the path of whirling, also called Dervish dance or Sufi dance.
By participating in the Dervish In Progress training, she is now also a recognized instructor who shares her knowledge with all influences and inspiration during her lessons and workshops.
By whirling and the influences that Rasha carries with her, she knows how to touch the emotions of others.
Rasha feels free and connected when she swirls. When she started it was for her own desire, but after the first year she transformed and wanted nothing more than to share it with others. Offer space to experience and connect with the silence in everyone.

Danial Moazeni:
Danial Moazeni was born in 1998 in Esfahan, Iran. At four, he started the Persian instrument to play the Tar. He began his studies in 2012 at the Music High School of Isfahan while studying with Maestro Hossein Alizadeh and Houshang Zarif Basics of Composition and Tar. He has given many concerts with diverse ensembles as a Tar player and composer in Tehran, Isfahan, Shahre-Kord Yazd and Neyshabour (Mashhad). In 2014 he founded the Nafis Ensemble. As a composer he has composed pieces for the Chamber Orchestra of Tehran and the National Orchestra of Isfahan. After graduating from high school, he moved to Austria and has been studying bachelor studies in music composition with Carola Bauckholt at the Anton Bruckner university, Linz, Austria since 2017 . In 2018 he had a radio conversation about the compositional interaction of Persian and European music and culture. As a soloist and composer he has performed in music festivals of Berlin, Krems, Linz, Budapest, and Contemporary Music Competition of Bologna, Italy with “Silkroad”,”Nafis Ensemble”, “WorldMusic Quartett”, “Ensemble Airborne” , “Kölner Schlagquartett” , Trio Sheek & SolterPlus Ensemble. 2019 he won the Prize of “Die sieben Leben des Maximilian Festival”.
